The 2010 Masterpiece London Fair, featuring hundreds of rare collectables, will be held June 24th to 29th. The fair will be representing and selling pieces from some of the world’s most prominent art, wine, classic car, jewelry and contemporary design dealers.

For an extra €100, visitors can attend the June 23rd preview. The event will take place on Chelsea Bridge Road, a short distance from some of London’s most prestigious and posh areas—places like Belgravia, Chelsea, Knightsbridge and Mayfair. Board members include representation from such distributors as Asprey, Mallett and Ronald Phillips.

Many of the highlighted pieces of the 2010 fair are available directly through these exhibitors. Asprey will be featuring a rare pink 7.30-carat diamond. The stone is cut in a heart shape and is encompassed by several 3.64-carat pear shaped diamonds. Aside from fine jewelry, Asprey will also be showing and selling a few select leather goods. The Asprey Alligator Desk Set, which is made from alligator and sterling silver, includes a stationary rack, memo pad, letter tray and desk blotter.

Mallett will be featuring an incredibly rare collection of three ormolu-mounted vases. It is believed that King Louis XV commissioned the mounts in 1768 as a gift for Marchault d’Arnouville. A Caprice restaurant will be available on site; however reservations must be made in advance. Le Caprice at Masterpiece’s hours of operation will be from 10 am to 5 pm.

Hundreds of rare collectables will be available at the fair, which Masterpiece London refers to as “a fusion of traditional & modern, old & new.” This opportunity to view and purchase so many rare items is not to be missed by collectors.
